WOC`10: Model-event & WOC-outfit (map/photos)

In my WOC`10 series I will present news, comments, maps and pictures from the upcoming 8 really exciting days in Trondheim. I will also use twitter for short, instant messages during the week (see top of my homepage or follow me @carlwk). In this article the map from todays model-event (with comments) and a presentation of the new norwegian WOC-outfit will be presented.

Model event. Today I had my last high intensity training before the middle distance qualification, a 3,75km course on the model event map Øvre Jervan. I got a really good feeling and got a reminder on how nice and exciting orienteering in trønderterrain really is: the beautiful open marsh areas, dense spruce-forest with (mostly) good runability and physical demanding. Then everything is set for my first WOC-race, the middle distance qualification on monday. There will be an interesting week… (See map with comments in my doma archive).
